Our organization has started “SWADHAR” Women Centre at Latur w.e.f. 10-05-2006 under the “Scheme for Women in difficult circumstances” duly sanctioned by the Ministry of Women & Child Development Govt. of India New Delhi. In this centre there are total 50 women beneficiaries of different categories i.e. distressed, destitute, deserted & exploited widows, released women prisoners without family support, victimized homeless Women in natural disasters without Social & economical support, Trafficked women / girls rescued or run away from brothels, women/girls victims of sexual crimes & disowned by families or unwilling to go back to their homes for various reasons, Women victims of terrorists violence & without/ family support, mentally challenged women without family support, HIV/AIDS infected deserted women without any support & similarly placed women in difficult circumstances. We provide them shelter, Food, clothing & Care. Besides we also provide them emotional support & counseling. These women are being socially & economically rehabilitated through education, awareness skill up gradation & personality development through behavioral trainings. They are provided medical & legal help & also various services for their support & rehabilitation.

Bal Vikas Mahila Mandal has established “Shishu Sadan’’ with the permission of CARA, New Delhi in which distressed orphan children are properly taken care of. The primary objective of establishment was only for orphan children of age group of 0 to 12 years. Central Adoption Resource Agency, Govt. Of India was giving permission & grant-in-aid since 1994. Now the Govt of India has stopped Grant-in-aid & presently it runs only on Donations from the public & stipulated/prescribed adoption charges as per rules from the adoptive parents. Presently 24 orphan children are staying in the said “Shishu Sadan” & up till now 368 children are placed in adoptions to generous parents. This is unique in its nature in Latur district of Marathwada. The organization is offering these orphan children to the generous and capable parents as per the legal procedure under in-country and inter-country adoption scheme, to protect the best interests of the orphan children by way of rehabilitation. In this Shishu-Sadan, we take overall care for all round development of children. Up-till now 204 orphan children have been given for adoption in India under in-country adoption scheme. The organization also started inter-country adoption scheme and under this scheme 72 Children have been given in adoption. The organization provides all round facilities i.e. boarding, lodging, clothing, education & other all facilities, to the orphan children for rehabilitation of these orphan children.

The organization has established Working Women Hostel in the year 1991-1992 for those women who have migrated from various rural areas of Latur District and surrounding of Latur district of Maharashtra State for seeking employment. Presently, about 100 working women & 20 Children are living in this Working Women Hostel. All facilities are provided to these beneficiaries. Over all care of the Children is taken in the Day Care Centre. It has become very useful in the life of working women.

Our organization has started Senior Citizens Home at the Earthquake affected village Limbala Dau (Gubal Chowrasta) Tq. Ausa Dist. Latur In the said Senior Citizens Home 25 Older Persons Present and they are taking benefit of the Senior Citizens Home. The said Senior Citizens Home is free to all older persons without any Caste, Creed Language and colour. All the facilities are provided to these older persons free of cost. The organization has appointed qualified and experienced staff to take care of these older persons. For the said Senior Citizens Home the organization has taken a building on rental basis and all the facilities like light, water and toilet etc. are provided in the said building. The older persons are very happy about this activity of the organization.

The said Senior Citizens Home is free to all older persons without any Caste, Creed Language and colour. All the facilities are provided to these older persons free of cost. The organization has appointed qualified and experienced staff to take care of these older persons. For the said Senior Citizens Home the organization has taken a building on rental basis and all the facilities like light, water and toilet etc. are provided in the said building. The older persons are very happy about this activity of the organization.

Galaxy English School was established in 01/10/2009 and it is managed by the Pvt. Unaided. It is located in Urban area. It is located in LATUR M.C. block of LATUR district of Maharashtra. The school consists of Grades from 1 to 7. The school is Co-educational and it doesn't have an attached pre-primary section. The school is N/A in nature and is not using school building as a shift-school. English is the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in JUNE.  The school has Rented building. It has got 15 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has 2 other rooms for non-teaching activities. The school has a separate room for Head master/Teacher. The school has Pucca boundary wall. The school has have electric connection. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Hand Pumps and it is functional. The school has 5 boys toilet and it is functional. and 5 girls toilet and it is functional. The school has a playground. The school has a library and has 5000 books in its library. The school does not need ramp for disabled children to access classrooms. The school has 24 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. The school is not having a computer aided learning lab. The school is Not Provided providing mid-day meal.

Recently we have started these schools since 01/10/2009 to provide ANC Nursing Course of 18 months to the 20 girl students from each school respectively. This will help to contribute to the field of health services which is in dire need of nursing services now- a- days.

Bal Vikas Mahila Mandal, Latur has started Ujjawala Scheme at Solapur since 01/03/2009 to provide immediate shelter to the rescued women from the trafficked places. These women are provided health care services, medicines, food, clothes, vocational trainings, and counseling services in addition to the immediate shelter. They are as such supported for the rehabilitation. Efforts are also made to reintegrate them in the family & society/community. We are also making awareness in the society to prevent the trafficking of girls & women for commercial sexual exploitation. This is a comprehensive scheme for prevention of trafficking, for rescue, rehabilitation & reintegration of victims of trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation.

Organization has started Senior Citizen Home for 50 Beneficiary at Gawali Vasti Near Akashwani Kendra, Solapur Tq. & Dist. Solapur, where older persons taking benefit of this Old Age home. The atmosphere of the said senior citizen Home is very good like Home away from Home. The said Senior Citizen Home is free to all without any Cast, Creed language. All the facilities are provided to these older persons free of cost. The organization has appointed qualified and experienced staff to take care of these older persons. For the said senior Citizen Home the organization has taken a building on rental basis and all the facilities are provided in the said building. The older persons are very happy about this activity of the organization.
